| Why do we ride in places like this? |

|
| Because we are Bush Pigs. Like Tara. (Garson, Sept. 4, 2002) |
So who are we anyway?
The Bush Pigs talk about mountain biking a lot.
But we do walk (make that ride) the talk.
Over mud, grass, blueberries, rock, roots and slower riders, we push rolling rubber, aluminum, muscle, flab and other
valuables.
There are no fees, no official membership.
But there is a T-shirt (optional).
We ride together once a week, not counting what we do on our own.
Just show up Wednesdays at 6 p.m. from early May to early November.
The weekly ride changes starting points.
Popular starts for The Bush Pigs are:
The Outside Store; Laurentian University's stadium; and Cambrian College's parking lot near its baseball field.
We average between 12 and 25 riders every Wednesday for our three-hour ride.

O-B-Don-Kanolee's Tip of the Month:
"Want another half-hour of daylight on the trail near the end of your ride - take off your sunglasses."
The sage of mountain biking has spoken.
Comments from fellow Bush Pigs or anyone are welcome.
Really. We're pigs, but we're literate.
